New high tip bucket is a boost for productivity, operational reliability and the working environment

As leading front loader and implement manufacturer, Ålö is introducing an entirely new range of high tip buckets. The new XH range has bucket gauges between 2 to 2.6 m and now enables loaders with lift heights of under 4 m to load high-sided trailers, for example. The new XH range also has an entirely new design to maximise volume capacity and durability whilst minimising noise.

"The XH buckets have a very robust and durable design without; limiting functionality, efficiency or smoothness of movement," says Urban Rönnqvist, Product Marketing Manager at Ålö.

"One example is that the whole bucket is conical, allowing as rapid emptying as possible. Another example is the location of the cylinders on the inside of the side pieces, meaning that both volume capacity and cylinder reliability are maximised. The location of the cylinders also means that the torsional rigidity is greatest when the bucket is full."

Design which maximises productivity and operation is a recurring characteristic in the XH range. The outside edge of the side pieces is entirely free of protruding bolts and rivets, allowing work to be carried out close to walls. This type of close quarters work can be done without the risk of damaging vital components. Smart hose cabling on the inside edge and hose protection on other vital points prevents damage to the hydraulics. The XH range also comes with unique design detail which provides a noticeable advantage in the working environment.

"That's right. The XH range has a unique rubber cushioning which significantly reduces noise when the bucket is closed. This benefits both the driver and others in the vicinity of the tractor. Of course it's satisfying to know that we can provide such a wide spectrum of benefits in one product," says Urban Rönnqvist.

The XH range, which currently consists of four buckets, was first officially unveiled in Hanover on 12-16 November at Agritechnica, the world's largest agricultural exhibition.
